A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their self-employed professional activity:

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

By way of derogation, in the case of a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period of time, the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the first goods.

You may use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercising the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to examine their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of cancellation

The right of cancellation expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal was removed after delivery.

The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who, at the time the contract is concluded, do not belong to a Member State of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time the contract is concluded are outside the European Union.
